Poetry of Inspiration: Ambition, Schoenheit & El

Ambition

You see it in the eyes of old souls.
Craving, always hungry for a challenge.
Never knowing what the future holds.

The darkness is yet an illusion.
Drifting clouds.
Menacing shadows.
Lonely nights.

What is real is what you don't see.
The spirit inside you and me.

It gives us strength to move forth.
Live it, desire...
it's truly yours.

Schoenheit

Alles ist schoen.
Das Leben ist schoen, oder?

Aber wie kann man verstehen,
wenn man krank ist.

Nicht nur krank sondern...etwas die man nicht sich aendern kann.

Wo ist Gott?

part I english translation from previous blog

My best girlfriends left me and then began the gossiping of my return from the psychiatric ward. Now I was the coined depressed girl and I knew that my relationships were only becoming superficial. I still have a psychological illness. Am I depressive, manic, schizophrenic, anxious? For every doctor, I was something else. And how did my family feel. Every week we had to drive to another town to see a psychiatrist. My father is also a doctor and in my mind, I felt he had inhibitions for people to know that I had bipolar disorder.

Touch of an Angel --- written in German (english translation to come...)

What inspires you? --- Poetry of a Star, perhaps?

Today, I was thinking of how I can inspire people. If you can change one life, it can start a chain reaction of inspiration, but if you can stir a whole group to change, then you create massive inspiration, which is why part of the reason I decided to join the Inspire Center was to make a difference. Here are some business trends that maybe you can seek opportunity in

The star wants to forget the beautiful night...
because the darkness creates the black light.

Inspired to Dance & Anger --- Zorn

I was not the ballerina my dad made me to be. He said I would never make it on Broadway. The truth hurts, but maybe it is better to know the truth than to be built up on false lies. Instead of that ballerina so beautiful in the snow globe my parents gave me, I destroyed its outer layer, throwing it into my drawer in anger. I do not know why I threw this beautiful ballerina snow globe. That was me in the snow globe. I was submerged in a fairy tale land of illusion and at the tender age of 8 I broke my dreams right there.

Music Therapy in the Psychiatric Ward

So I'm bored. Stuck in the psychiatric ward for the third time. The psychiatric ward and I have a love-hate relationship. Who wouldn't complain of the free will to choose what to eat at the menu they give you. Not only that, if you are a healthy bloke, they allow you to put the quantity of the food you choose. For me that meant, double the chocolate-chocolate cake and lays potato chips. This was a sacrifice of my happiness to re-gaining the eight pounds lost during the previous summer.

God, grant me the serenity...

"God, grant me the serenity... to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference."

Good News for Coffee Addicts: Coffee Reduces Skin Cancer Risk

The way caffeine may protect the skin against the damage of UV exposure is revealed in a recent study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology".

There have been several studies showing that drinking tea or coffee may lower lower one's risk of contracting non-melanoma skin cancers. Unsure of the coffee's protective mechanism, researchers studied the effects of caffeine on human skin cells after exposure to UV rays. They found that caffeine blocks a critical checkpoint in the cell growth, causing cells to self-destruct and die. This fatal effect was seen only in cells that had been damaged by UV rays which are likely to become cancerous, while healthy cells were left unchanged.
